How far are you willing to travel, and does the bike have to be an XJ ?
I am located in Union Springs, New York 13160. I have a 1978 triple cylinder 750 Special,14,000 miles, all original and complete. Bike is in very good condition and completely assembled.
I am very confident that a carb cleaning and a new battery would be all this bike would need to be a runner.
I am asking $600, but I am negotiable.
BTW,motor turns freely,2nd gear needs repair(an easy fix-no need to remove motor from frame ),and tires are like new.
    Regards,
    Dan

When i say cheap i mean like 200$$ max to drop, although it sound like a great bike my buddy is looking for something that he can put together and tinker with. not unless you where willing to part with it for 200$ but it sounds like to good of a bike to let go that cheap Thak you for posting it though. I bet you even get a pm from someone about it too.

I can appreciate that,Fongdingo. Can't let it go for $200-cost me $500,plus a 4 hour drive to pick it up.
If I see something on ebay closer to where you live, and within your $ range,I'll send you a pm.
Best of luck in your search.
