Wanted: XJ550 Tach Gear Assembly

    So I was really dumb and while trying to extract the oil seal to replace I completely ripped the threads to pieces. Ugh. This is the last piece of the puzzle before my bike is complete. It looks like they discontinued the OEM part so i'm hoping someone on here has a spare to sell. I'm looking for the whole assembly including the gear if possible.

    I just picked one up from an eBay seller who was selling the cylinder head. he pulled it from the head for me. Email a seller who is parting out a 550 and they will most likely have one for you.

    Lucky for me I found someone selling an OEM complete unit.. never used. Hopefully that will get me up and working.

    I'm a salty biscuit now. I had to settle for used. Luckily it cleaned up very well, so all is well with it.
