    ...sooo be aware that the prior owner may have made other changes from stock, and some might be less than desirable (unlike the fuse upgrade and the headlight shade).

    That makes sense...I am planning on going over the entire bike to check for safety issues...Just wasn't sure where that was leading from the post earlier...Thanks for the heads up!

    M'kay, quick update...Back onto fixing up the XJ after a rough winter here in the mid-U.S. At the moment, priorities are going to be adjusting the clutch, rebuilding front brake, getting new tires, Ordering highway bars from the forum sponsor, etc...I did manage to find a luggage rack/seatback locally that I will be picking up tomorrow...That kind of fell in my lap....

    Not bolted in yet, want to clean it up, but seems to match pretty well!
