I jsut got my new engine put into my cb750.. and it may be seized, when i turn the jkey and try to turn it over, i can tell the starter is trying to move... what do i do to unseize it? can you put a tsp of oil in each cylinder and wait over night? isnt that what alot of people do? I have some 20w-40 oil that im ready to pour in. maybe ill try and crank the engine by hand, if i can produce more strength than it

i'd try by hand first, pull the plugs to make it easier to spin(no compresion) other than that i'm not sure what it would do to the clutches, ect. but i've seen people use PB blaster before. but i'm not sure what it could damage.

go get a pint of Lucas De-seiz-it, put a quart down each plug hole then put the rest in the crankcase, change your turn signal fluid to strawberry then push the bike backwards 50 feet with it in reverse
    then press the Pkey
    nothin to it

What happened to Mouse Milk or Kroil ??

And what happened to your old 750 motor, that I asked you to compression test months ago??

You painted a bike that did not run? Am I being too hard on Ol' Schoot?? the XJ Wizard?

I've heard or brake fluid used before. If I was going to try something, I would give ATF the first shot though.

atf? is that a kind of brake fluid, lol damn.
anyways, im writing this rite before i go to bed, i tossed some oil in the cylinders again, tried cranking it, and it moved a bit!!! though its stuck again.. so im gonna let it sit over night and when my dad wakes my up at 7 am, im gonna rush out into the garage and try it again.
i have a nice medly of 20w-40, some mystery oil in a squirter, and john deere multi purpose spray lube... that stuff is useless...

You shouldn't have bought the engine without performing a Compression Test.

Put the Engine on cardboard, fabric or set it in a small tire.
    Pull the Plugs.
Use a Tool to get the Cylinder Readings.
Run the Starter with Jumper Cables and a Car Battery.

    Look at the Readings.
If the Engine don't spin or the Readings are below specs ...
Say "Thanks but No Thanks" and leave.

My dad ran his two cyl tiller when had no oil and seized it up. I pulled the heads and applied liquid wrench over night. The next day I took a 2X2 and gently tapped the pistons one after the other. After about 4 raps on each it freed up and has been running for 2 years since. It all depends on how bad the damage inside is though. This was a brand new motor.

    approx. $248

i may call the guy.. if he's honest... he may have f'up when he looked inside the engine and stuff, and maybe he'll refund the money, if not, I think I'm gonna go to emc cycle in yale and buy one...
I have about 4 different things sitting in the cylinders right now.. hoping it will work.. and what i though was the engine turning over before, may have been the starter making soem kinda noise..

i'am sure it will but will it turn with the clutch in while in gear, that means the tranny isn't jacked and the clutch does something

"1/2 crank" as in 180 degrees, well either the pistons arn't stuck or you have the worst bearings in the world
maybe something is jamming the primary chain

I cant say this is what your issue is:

my motor would only rotate 350 degrees when i becan my project - someone had dropped a screw into cylinder 1 and 4. More or larger foreign items int he cylinder could limit movement to 180 degrees.

One tool I still want is fiber optic scope to look inside stuff like that.
