well i finally got to test the maxim x against a sportbike!

    i met someone with a 2000 honda cbr929rr and surprizingly that x keeps right up!

    That's interesting, I don't know how my Maxim X stacks up to newer bikes. I smoked a Harley but that is no big feat.

    everythings stock besides a k&n box filter that fits into the stock airbox. oh if your x is in good running condition you should have no problem keeping up with or beating any newer 600cc sportbike.

    Maxim X: 0.176 hp per pound

    CBR 929RR: 0.35 hp per pound



    The guy on the CBR wasn't racing you. The Maxim-X is a quick bike, but it's not supersport fast.



    2012 ZX-6R: 0.31 hp per pound

    Or even late-model 600cc fast.

    It is however, a suprisingly fast mid 80's cruiser, and a damned fine looking bike.

    They do all share very similar 0-60 times. Stoplight to stoplight would be entirely down to the rider.

    Umm ya he was he gained on me little by little but didn't leave me in the dust also in the beginning I got the head start from second gear and he still zoomed by me at first you know what you weren't there so u don't know yeah also he told me he only hit 3rd and I was just hitting 5th sooo
