Well I think I'm giving up on the riding. And I haven't even started yet!

Unbelievable, I've been with my insurance company for over 15 years. 1 ticket my whole life when I forgot to renew. They would not touch me for less than 4000year with a sport bike as I'm only just got my m2 (but took a safety course). Now with the yamaha xj 750 I git they still want over 2000$year. Never had an accident or claim ever, I'm 40 years old. I know of 17 year old who paying less than that. I'm thinking I should make a few very high claims before I go somewhere else. Burn my house down or drive my 500hp charger off a bridge. Then at least I could justify paying that price. I'd rather not ride for that cost. Canadian insurance especially Ontario's is a joke. Guess I now know the real price of my loyalty. Where did I leave that Jerry can fill of gas? Sorry for the rant I'm just so pissed off. Like I'm so school boy who's doing wheels on the Hwy. Maybe drive my car doing 150km hour thru there front window. Oopps hit the wrong pedal. Because it's my first time on the road don't ya know fml. Time to sell I guess

I felt your pain, although not like that. Is that just for liability? I paid around 1200/year for my seca in kitchener back in 2013.

Ontario rates are crazy. I pay 240/year for liability here in Newfoundland....
