    I think its a sign, not just 30 minutes ago i got home from houghton bringing the smoker home. since mine runs and looks that good i have an easy 4K right?

    Read the description. Chrome peeling, rust in tank, doesn't run! I've got a couple of bikes like that and would love to get $2100 each for them!!!

    That's my point. If it were an XJ we'd be looking at the $300 range, if that. It's a non-runner fer chrissakes.

    But our day is coming-- look how close we're getting...

    Kinda funny....a bidder w/ zero feedback runs the bid from $820 up to $2100.00. Either he had no clue what he was doing, or he really wanted the bike but someone else wanted it a whole lot more, or there's something fishy......................

    I hope for the seller's sake that the winning bidder actually buys it.

    Hogfiddles thats what shrill bidding is bidding on you own stuff or having someone else do it Bidding looks real fishy on it I wouldnt be surprised to see it re-listed in a week

    Dude. Even $820 for that bike is a stretch, in my mind anyway.

    I remember the days when you could pick up a decent, albeit scruffy Triumph or Norton for $500; now one in the same shape goes for $5000 or more.

    Our day is on the horizon.
