What are these grommets for?

    I took these off to clean when I started overhauling my bike and can’t for the life of me remember where they came off of. Manual doesn’t have them in a diagram that I can see either. Anyone know?

    I think those are for the side cover retention tabs.

    Ok, cool. That'd make sense. I have four. I ended up replacing the rubber on those anyway, so I guess I have some extras!

    Yes, side cover grommets are either round or oval.

    Those appear to be the gauge cluster dampers.
