    Help!!
i have a 1992 XJ600, was diversion now cafe racer. trying to tidy up the engine bay as i go. there are a couple of pipes running round the cylinder head (externally). one seems to go round the carbs and back to the top of the engine.....
i suspect its for carb warming, as i dont tour, can i remove it?

the other seems to go from the left side of the cylinder head (as sat on the bike) round behine the engine. cant fint any of it the manual.

Help a stupid old man, please.

What you got there is a hose.

Looks like part of the emissions control system. Takes the vapour from the valve cover and routes it back to the air intake to be burnt up. That doohickey in the middle of the hose is probably a PCV valve.

That is just my guess though.

    thanks Paul.

the top pipe seems too go all the way round and back into the valve cover. if its umm....important... i will try to just lift it out of the way but if not, will attampt to lose it.

    :)
