I just finished bobbing my bike and I don't want to just paint it black . Does anyone have any cool ideas?

Honestly flat black PLUS any other 1 or 2 colors you like that will look good with what ever remaining chrome/alum you still have.

Where are the pics of your project?

I saw an American Chopper episode yesterday. It was the one where Rick Petko did his own bike. He painted it a flat black with charcoal flake. Looked pretty sweet. Black but not the same black as everyone else.

I will upload some pics soon. I plan on keeping the frame black but I would like to try and stay away from the norm without making it look dumb

I've had best luck with the traditional red&white.

If my bike weren't already a color I like, I would paint it Midnight Blue. That has always been my favorite Crayola color! LOL

Damn, I did it again, shared too much again, didn't I?

I've always liked black (shiny, not flat) and a little pinstriping to set it off.
Other than that, I'd go with red & white. It just looks better to me.

Shiny black with red pinstripes looks good enough for my bobber.

Mine is going to be a metallic charcoal/gunmetal color with satin black accents. If I can ever finish it!

For some reason a nice creamy white always gives a bike a little more of a "vintage" feel for me, if that's something you're going for. Cream is the color I plan on shooting my bike with when I get the chance this summer.

I plan on using spray paint. The creamy white would go good with a light blue right? I would like to see more xj pics so upload some freshly painted projects, I think everyone would like the ideas.
