What handlebar options have I got for a 700 Maxim X please?

    Hi guys,

    What handlebar options have I got for a 700 Maxim X please as I need to change my current standard bars as they are slightly bent from a PO dropping the bike?

    I tried a set of Renthal drag bars bolted up to my risers but by the time I would have put all the switch gear on they would foul the tank & reduce the turn on the steering :(

    I'm not the greatest fan of the standard bars & would like something a bit more 'chopper-esk' but they need to clear the tank & preferably keep the same cables etc ... so no I'm not looking for a set of Ape-hangers! :D

    Just wondered what bars others might have used to customize their Maxims please?

    I put on a set of clubman bars and if you angle the bars right they will miss the tank and use all the stock cables and such

    not sure if this is what your looking for, but i bought these mx bars brand new for 15 bucks. very comfortable and barely clears tank lock to lock with all controls.
