What happened to all the "650" badges for the Turbo?

    It seems really odd but every XJ650LJ I see seems to be missing the 650 cap badge out of the centre of the handlebar cover. I've been trying to find one since I bought my bike 12 monmths ago. Were they a collectors item? Even all the handlebar covers for sale on Ebay have them missing and when I have contacted them they don't have the cap badge! Is there a secret black market in these - will I see one in the Guggenheim? If anyone has one they'd care to sell from their extensive collection I'd love to here from you.

    They are just press fit, and have to be removed to pull the handlebars. They probably just come loose with time and prying and break or fall off. At least our side panels covering the battery don't just pop off and get lost in the wind like all the other XJs!
