What hose is this?

    On the bottom of the air box, left hand side, I have a short length of hose. What is it, and should the other end be attached to anything?

    I saw the same thing and figured it was a vent hose, like the battery has. I didn't see anything else to attach it to either, don't know if this is right tho...

    should be the breather hose i think. my 550 has one from the crankcase to air box then one just off the air box.

    It should be a drain for the airbox. for if you flood the bike it dont back up in there.
