    There is an add on Craigs List. it appears as follows:

    Complete bike, no title, selling as is, pickup only. I intended to use the engine off the bike for a go cart, but i ran out of time and need the money. Make offer.

    I offered him $50.
    He countered at $250.
    What is it worth?
    Parts? here or ebay??? Good tank?? Dual disc forks, would look good on my 650???

    Don't assume the forks will swap or that the components of the front end will interchange. If it's a runner or could be then $200-$250 isn't unreasonable. If not, then it's just a matter of how much you want to pay for a rolling 1-bike junkyard. If it were me I would let a compression test decide.

    I bought a full touring bike, in about the same condition, no title, no keys etc for $75, engine was stuck too

    What is the back rack and bags worth??
    I never assume anthing, just thinking and looking for the person who did the swap with the forks and can tell me what to do and not to!!

    Rack with backrest could go for $50 to $100 on ebay bags are worth a good bit. If it runs had has good compression you could part it out . Value is very hard to determine. 250 sound too high IMHO
