Thats a good question, because there seems to be more maxims here than secas , and while somebody is looking that up, how many Seca 900's are left alive and running in the US ??

How come the Seca and Maxim people can get along so well on this site? Isn't it like cats and dogs being friends? Seca owner stirring the pot!

There's a bunch of us who have BOTH!

    I do! A 750 Max and a 900 Seca.

    SECA.

(Get along? I think it's a common goal thing, or an engine thing. Or ultimately a similar reason we bought the bikes in the first place. Besides, how much would we learn being better than each other?)

    Love my Midnight 650.

Would like to have a really nice red 750 SECA with the factory fairing and hard saddle and tail bags. That's a beautiful ride to me.

Was thinking about a 900, but never did receive the pix I wanted.

I guess I oughta just stick to my two year plan (when my last kid leaves college). Yup, then I'll be looking for a low mileage 2007 FJR1300 in Black Cherry. That'll make my VMax and Venture some good company.

Maybe I'll sell the Harley then (or sooner Ha!).

How would you know which is which. I suspect my 750 might be a seca, but it might be plain jane XJ. I'm pretty sure my 550 is a straight XJ, well straight 400 with a 550 lump, and 650 front end and one or two other parts. Well I don't think it's a seca and it's certainly not a maxim.

    I didn't vote.

I think we get along because we are like two different brothers from the same mother.

With 3111 members 60 votes is a small cross section of what is out there. Help me out with more votes or replies. Thanks

A very recently resurrected 83 750 Maxim for me... Hit the road last night after being buried in my father's driveshed since the fall of 1995 !
