What is this part?

    These two parts were found hidden up inside each side of the handle bars when I removed the grips. What are they and what purpose do they serve? They slid right out when the wheel was tuned to either side so even with the o rings they are a slightly smaller diameter than the I.D. of the bars. Thanks.

    Bar weights, they help reduce vibration at the ends of the bars.
