properly torqued, threads cleaned prior to reinstalling, engine cold, and properly gapped at the lower end of the spec-trust me your mill will be grateful.

I know everyone will scream, but I use E3's, E3.31's. E3.34 are also a substitute for the BP7ES. They are what are known as a Semi-surface discharge plug. They are designed to reduce plug fouling. Small aircraft, Cessna, Pipers and such, and lager HP outboard motors use a full surface discharge plug. They will fire even if there is fouling. The reason I went to them was simple, we can no longer get the BP7ES plugs here in Canada and when you add shipping to them when ordering out of the US it becomes cost prohibitive to buy them. So I decided to give them a try. And I am pleased with them. I use them in all of my lawn equipment. I find I have less problems starting them. I have a mower that took 6 or 8 pulls to start. But with the E3's two pulls at the most and away it goes. Any gas engine I have that is hard to start I have switched over to the E3's. And it has made a big difference in starting. Expensive BUT worth it as far as I'm concerned!

who screaming? I saw a video of a clear ceramic cylinder comparison between traditional and E3 plugs and the flame front was more impressive coming from the E3's. I just haven't tried them yet but was planning on it.

I think it would be a mistake for anyone to assume that there is ever only one way to go or only one product to use. If it works..it works.

I ran E3's in my 05 Mustang. I had 2 crap out on me withing 3000 miles. I went back to Motorcraft. I will only put Autolite in my bikes. They are cheap and I have never had a problem with them.
