I need to source some rear blinkers n taillight just for the time bein' 2 get my bike on the road.. A local MC parts place has a '82 650 turbo SECA n a bunch of other makes(70's n early 80's) parts bikes..

Would the '82 650 turbo SECA's rear blinkers n taillights work "wiring" wise without any modifications?
I'll figure out where n how 2 mount them thats no biggie..

With the other makes(Honda, Kawasaki, n suzuki) if I got the blinkers n taillight off of 1 of those bikes, would I need 2 do any wiring modifications? Again I'll figure out where n how 2 mount them..

I kinda need an answer real soon since I'm headin' there tomorrow morning n I won't have internet access there..

    Thanx

Most anything you can devise a mount for should work for the tail light. You will want to make sure the signals are running approximately the same wattage as the stocks unless you are going to change out the flasher to accommodate different bulbb and possibly loose your self cancel (stock is 28 watts each iirc).

I would assume the turbo would use the same setup as the other xjs, but you know where assuming gets people.

any stock blinkers will work as long as they are not led. Any tail light will work

    Visit a BoneYard nearby.

You'll find hundreds to chose from.

    $10.00 - $15.00

They'll be real happy to negotiate, too.
"Cause the world has gone to LED's.

Not much demand fer them Jap signal lights no more.

Single wire are Pure Signal Lights that are Grounded when attached to the Frame.

Dual Wired Signal Lights with a BLACK Wire ... Need to be Grounded.

Dual Wired Signal Lights with 2 Colored Wires ( Blue or Green -- with one having a Runner) are TWIN Filament Sockets for Running Lights.

Bike Shops and WalMart have "Generic" Universal's that are Plastic but look like Chrome.
