Measure the outside diameter of the intake, then order pods to fit that diameter.

my 650 had a 42mm opening at the intake. So that 33mm is not the outside diameter. Youll have to re jet the carbs as well.

Save that stock airbox, you may want to put it back on sometime. Pod filters present some difficult challanges in jetting to get a good running bike.

But it is always cooler. Try the pods, they get a bad rap around here.

    Got pods on my 80.

    Runs great. No jetting involved.

May just have been pure luck. (luck doesnt come my way often)

Just put a 45 degree elbow between your crankcase nipple and whatever filter you decide to install on it. (creates slight resistance. I've noticed better throttle response)

Pods do get a bad wrap sometimes, depends who you ask.
They add a little/lot of character to your one of a kind machine.
Give it a try. Whats the worst that can happen? Rejet? Replace airbox?
Be careful removing your stock airbox. Do it the right way. (Leave the hammer and prybar alone)
    Good luck.
