    Ok guy's,
    I'm thinking of putting this up for sale its a 1981 SECA 5550R with 5146 miles on it. It will come with a new MAC 4 into 1 pipe as well as the stock exhaust. I just dont know what price to start at.

    I say you can get a grand more for it in FL then MI. However much that is.

    by the way, 4 into 1 exhaust...

    If it runs well, start around $1400. But this is the wrong time of year to sell a bike....

    VERY nice.

    You can probably get as much as $1600- $1800 in the spring if it's as nice as it looks, with that low mileage. Don't depend on CL, put it on eBay with a decent reserve or list it in Walneck's. You'll get more for it with a wider audience.

    Definitely sit on it until spring.

    ^^^Besides, the economy is still kinda in the crapper right now. Give it a few months, you'll do better. Maybe even as much as 2K on a good day, with the new exhaust. It's a lovely bike.
