I've got an '85 XJ 700 Maxim X, yes its liquid cooled... just under 10,000 miles. Baby # 2 is due any day now, plus I'm moving soon, too many projects... I hate to say it, but I'm toying with the idea of selling my bike, and buying a new one later on. The bikes got a brand new stator w/ used rotor, K&N filter in stock airbox, decent tires, 2 year old battery, replaced left hand controls for lights and turn signals with new unit from Yamaha, repainted tank and fenders (2000 Ford Mustang Metallic Red with pearl). The bike runs but could probably use a tune up again... and yes I have the title for it. I've got way too much invested in this bike, but I was thinking about $1750, the only thing that is screwed up is the right side muffler is dented and scratched, the previous owner knocked it over onto it side in his garage while he had it for sale and theres some surface rust on the header pipes. $1750 sound about right? I'd drop some for a member of XJ if it goes to a good home where someone would continue to fix it up, oh I have the factory manual for the bike too.

If the mileage is accurate, the seat is unripped, and the tires are in good condition, then you should be able to get every bit of what you are asking.

The seat slipped my mind, it has started to crack around the buttons in the center of the seat, I feel pretty confident the mileage is accurate, I'm the 3rd owner and I knew the second owner when I bought it from him.
