What's that under seca 550 seat?

    What is the original use for that little clip on hatch under the seca 550 seat?
    Figure it was for some kind of instructions or just a place to store registration or something...being a restoration purist I would like to know. Thx

    Thank you Ecologito....but I have that tool set and know its location....the compartment of which I speak is actually under the seat itself...which is to say it is part of the seat ..It clips into a couple of slots there....

    That little compartment is just to hold your registration. One 550 Seca I picked up in 87 had a registration sized ziplock bag in there.
