Wheel spacing

    1981 xj650.

    The rear wheel is not centered in the swingarm, instead it is only a few mm off the swingarm on the final drive side. So close that mud on the swingarm scuffs the sidewall.

    I see two washers that look to be equal widths on both sides of the wheel.

    I bought the bike like this and have no idea how it ended up like this.

    How to fix? Can I put both washers on one side of the wheel?
