Bump! Thunder on the Strip, Sept. 10-13. Be there or be ... somewhere else.

 

One month away. Me, my son-in-law and his cousin are planning to go. Polock? Baldwonder? Anyone else?

 

One month away?! But summer just started!

I'll be there. Are we shooting for Friday, Saturday, or Sunday for the meetup? (It's an all-weekend event, right?)

 

Saturday, Sunday are good for me. Jayrodah, is your XJ up and running? Polock, what was that meeting place you mentioned?

 

Not even close but I still plan on going on the Kaw. If anyone coming from the west wants to meet at my place, you're more than welcome. I have a carb tune and colortune if anyone needs a last minute adjustment.

 

I'm game for stopping in at your place, @jayrodoh. We can caravan over from there, even if it's just two deep.

Let me check out the schedule when I get home and see what day is best. I'm thinking Saturday, head over in the AM and return in the evening. Maybe we can get the grill going or something.

chilly and wet, i need to get out some rain gear

 

I was just looking at that. Fun times. All I have is some hiking rain gear, will probably have to wear that.

 

Might be nice to not have to take all my gear off once I'm there or risk heat stroke.

 

Looking at the weather report for Geneva has dampened our spirits. Jared and I decided to call it off. Sucks, I was looking forward to meeting Polock. Just not enough to be in rain all day, and actual thunder to boot, not just the on-the-strip variety.
