Hi there I recently changed out the oil pan on my bike after pulling a real boner move. I was so fixated on getting the old pan out and the new one in that I didn't pay much attention to the Oil level switch power cable when I yanked it out. The new pan is installed with the new switch, but I can't figure out where to plug it. The Haynes manual provides no pictures and just a vague description. Thanks!

I think it's on the pigtail that also runs the side-stand switch - but there's also the odd chance you got the worong switch. You didn't say where you got the "replacement" from, or what your bike is.

    What are you not riding??

650H, according to a forum search.

(And yes, jealentus, you might want to go into your account settings and edit your forum signature block.)

On an H, the oil level switch is wired through the pick-up coil harness. Blue wire with bullet connector.
