    Hello,

My scoot has pods. Wondering where to put ether in the air stream. I hope I don't have to take the pods off one by one.
A farmer at church told me to spray it into the spark plug hole and tell the kids to stand back...

Just got to start to get it home from the winter storage.

    Thanks,
    Ryan

Just squirt it into the pods, that's what I did when I was troubleshooting my old carbs. Just hit all 4 of them as best you can.

on mine if I need it I can normaly get away with just shooting one carb and it gives it enough kick to get going!

Sounds like the enrichment circuit needs a cleaning to me...

I've never used starting fluid on my bike.

Agreed. My problem was the opposite. I was flooding out, but the ether was more combustible than gasoline so I could -juuuuuuuuust- get it going. Then I figured out the problem and fixed it.

    My F/E circuit works great.

It's clean I swear! I made sure the cleaner squirted through the little brass tube at the bottom. But now that I read some other threads today, I forgot to try backing out the enrichment screw. I left all of them 2 turns out from the carb clean. Maybe backing out more will do better...
She's getting a new battery and a new plugs soon.
And gunking up my cracked carb boots w/ heat vent goop.
    Yeah... I'm getting desperate.
