Which 82 Virago 750 parts will fit an 85 Maxim 700x?

    Does anyone know which parts will fit my 85 maxim 700x? I like the wheels on the Virago and I can get the bike for about $200. Any help would be great thanks.

    I'm pretty sure the indicator stems are the same, if that's any help! LOL ;)

    As far as the rear wheel, maybe check the width of the tyre as a guide as I know you can't 'up' the rear tyre size on the XJ700 Maxim as there are clearance issues with the shaft drive. Also check to see if there are any sizes on the wheel construction to see if they could be compatible ???

    Thanks Rick. I think I'm going to pass and try to find an Xj parts bike. Very hard to come by...ha Your bike is clean by the way

    nice bike. im glad to know virago wheels fit earlier xj i have a set of gold virago wheels will let go cheap if anyone is interested make me an offer. look just like these. bought a parts bike for the motor have some xtra parts
