my name is greg and i am a maxim addict.
i know the first step to recovery is admitting i have a problem.

today i bought my third maxim in less than 3 months.why?
i still don't know.i saw it and thought hey it is cheap enough.
i can really take my time and customize this one right.
then i get on the phone and line up getting the maxim
frame professionaly hardtailed.i then buy a paughco springer on line.
why?i know i can wait and just ride what i got.but i want this bike done yesterday.

is there a 12 step program for guys like me.or am i destined to have a fleet of maxims and empty pockets?

My name is Mick and I was an addict. I would go drinking dancing and chasing girls, always always seeking fun and pleasure. Then I got married.

Who says guys don't like to shop??
I sorta did the same, got my Turbo, got it running, and while looking around for parts, found a deal on a couple more - for parts! One will probably run again.
Then yesterday, I checked out another air cooled turbo - a 1966 Corvair Corsa - since it was silver, just like my turbo bike, I decided I needed it too!
I'm not suffering from insanity - I'm enjoying every minute!!

Here`s the way I look at my addiction, They only made the Seca 900 one year in the states, so I buy all of the bikes and parts I can. That way I can ensure that I get to ride one for years to come. When I`m to old to enjoy them anymore I can sell them to supplement my retirement.

I guess I ought to admit my weakness. I'm addicted too, just ask my wife. I find the thought of working on a Maxim or Seca enough to keep me awake at night. What to do!?
