Hey guys I'm planning on taking a long trip this summer with my seca 650, that damn wind though is killing me.

    What are my options?
Would a seca 550 front fairing fit on a 650? Is there ones out there like it that do fit!?

Orrr, do I have to find some plain windshield to throw on?

If I could find one the shoei FM-5 for me. Biggest problem with seca650 is that 8" headlight, great for lighting but not for aftermarket windshields or oem fairings.
The one nkavanau1 gave me with his xj750x is probably what I will use this summer. Going to recut lower edge to match the headlight curve.

Windscreens are just plastic; they can be trimmed to fit the headlight.
A 550 fairing could be made ot fit, but they really aren't very good at doing anything but mekd the bike look and handle funny.
All of the fairing s for the 650 Seca came from aftermarket suppliers, so finding one will take time and luck. Your best bet is getting an aftermarket windscreen and modifying it as needed.

Put a slipstreamer on and you'll be good to go

I have a National Cycle Streetshield EX on and off of my Maxim with lower, straighter bars. I like it. It provides ample coverage without being huge and I can set it JUST below my sightline and keep my helmet in smooth air. I also run it on my mongrel Re-Strom with a big 8" light without modifying the bottom. There's a lot of decent options though. I could post a couple pix if it would help.

I've used a Slipstream Spitfire on mo 650 Seca, Helps with the wind. Aren't you using clubman bars? The Spitfire can be adjusted to work with those. I used to have a Shoei FM 5, but some clown at work broke the mounts and fairing. If you can find one that would be the best choice. there is a guy in Nor Cal that makes Cafe' fairings with an 8" headlight opening, but they are very pricey.
