WOT Hesitation

    Hey guys, I have a quick question concerning my bike ('82 XJ550.) On my way to work yesterday, I experienced some hesitation when accelerating close to and at wide open throttle between 3500-6000 RPM. Above that RPM, it started pulling like normal, but this had me worried. So I went and worked for about 6 hours, then fired it up and rode home. On the way back, however, I didn't notice any hesitation, stumbling or loss of power when rolling on the throttle. Anybody have a guess as to what this might have been? I'm going to pick up a can of Seafoam (always worked wonders for my old Ford) and run about half of it through a full tank of gas. Thanks in advance!
