I still have my XJ 750 , just a quick question because I am flustered. My Speedometer is not reading the right speed, I got behind a truck the other day he was probably going 65-70 and my speedo said I was going only 40 mph, what might be the problem here, cable , speedometer, or speedo gaer or what, thanks

From my experiences with speedos in cars, it could be any of the above. In my 1988 Camaro it was always either the gear or the cable, but I've seen issues pop up across the board. Speedos seem to be rather picky pieces of machinery

Mine is going the other was- - reading high. 55 on a Garmin GPS my bike reads 62. I did 102 and the needle was around 115, and not steady.
    A 14 % error in Japanese engineering?

Is there some kind of calibration screw? (Seca 900)
