Okay... I've made a right ass of myself. How, you ask?

I uploaded a buttload of pics today. Come see the rat bike and the fish taco-eating rat that rides it!

I've upped my pics, now up yours!

    /Ummm, waitaminute... :D

I'm trying to find a better back ground for my bike pics if I do is it ok if I re-submit my pics for the calendar? That is if I get them in before the deadline?

I don't think that would be an issue... I say upload to your heart's content.

Here's another idea; I just put a larger version in the gallery.

The calendar submission polls are closed now. We have 90 pictures in the calendar gallery. Let’s have a vote and rate the top pictures.

To make it fair, please don’t vote for your own picture(s) and vote only one time per picture.

    Voting (rating) process:
    1. Find 5-12 pictures that you like the most
    2. Click on the picture
    3. Under the picture you’ll see “Rate this picture”. Click on one of the STARS to rate the picture.
    4. Repeat step 2 & 3 for 5-12 pictures

The voting polls will close on Dec 16th.

    Votes made.

Just so everyone knows (anyone who cares anyway, :p lol) I really wanted to be a part of this - but I only had Low res pics of the bike that I didn't think would do the calendar justice.

    I was considering these:

But after viewing the pics I kinda regret it... Seems mine were about on par with some of the good ones...

    Oh well.
    Late entry :?:

Personally I really love the first one... but I took it with my camera phone and didn't think the resolution was that good... 3rd one has the best res but would need to be chopped to get rid of the timestamp and the R6 wheel.

BTW, You have the makings of a good calendar allready, I'll be buying one regardless (unles someone wants to join me in a boycot to break the rules and allow my late entry - hahaha).

The wait is over. The pictures are in and two 2008 calendars have been made.

This was our first crack at it and it was somewhat late in the season to get this going. Many lessons have been learned. So, next year’s calendar(s) will be a bit more organized and hopefully even better! I used various factors to decide on the final pictures. Here are some of those factors:

    1. Number of votes for the picture
    2. Picture quality
    3. Picture file size
    4. Is the picture a good fit
    5. Uniqueness of the picture

Lets hear some of your feedback so we can improve the process for the next year.

Thank you for participating and congratulations to all 2008 XJBikes Calendar finalists! I will create a special Gallery for the pictures that were used for 2008 Calendar.

You can get your calendar through these links:

Well, so much for the rat bike look. ;) I'm disappointed and relieved at the same time.

At least next time I'll have a better camera to try and do this with.

Thanks Chacal, I appreciate it... Next year I'll have to submit a couple days earlier... with some better pics. I can see the competition will only get better.

The calander is top notch, and true to my word I ordered one tonight.

I'll be putting it up in my cubicle when I get it. :D

Are the pics on the front of the calander the ones that made the cut?

The calendar is a single-page poster measuring 11x17. What you see is what you get.

It looks to me like there are 2 versions available, the 11x17 poster print and the normal multi-page calendar. The traditional calendar has each month's bike shown on the front; you can view the calendar pages on the cafepress.com site.
