XJ1000 MASTER CYLINDER, 1982, REBUILT

Completely rebuilt: bead blasted and then repainted black, new piston-seals-spring-clip kit installed, new cover gasket, new cover screws, fluid sight level replaced with a clear mineral glass window, tests fine! As close to new as they come....BUT, the low fluid level sensor "float" is missing, and the low fluid sensor wire has been snipped clean off (a small amount of it remains and it could be carefully soldered onto an original wire, or, swap your original sensor with wire into this unit----it simply unscrews from the inside of the reservoir). Includes lever with boot and hose union with two washers. Ready to install and looks very nice. $25 plus shipping (which is less than the cost of the new parts used to rebuild it).

NOTE: unlike what you may have heard elsewhere, this is a "single" master cylinder. It only operatres the RH front brake caliper. It is NOT a "dual-disk" (big bore) master cylinder, so don't buy this if you're looking to update your dual disk system to the mack-daddy shizzle of all master cylinders.........
