I'm having an issue getting my cams aligned with the cap arrow exactly while the crank is at "T". The cams are close but not what I consider exact. How much tolerance do we have with aligning cams to the cap arrow?

With a bit of stretch in cam chain it should be less than half a chain link. So moving cam 1 link either way will be way out

This might seem weird and maybe I was imagining it but I swear I aligned a cam better by rotating the sprocket 180 on the cam so the bolts used the other hole.
I felt happier after doing it after having the same question as you do.
    Just a note.
