xj1100 engine needed

    I have one here in Apec NC, it a little far though. Keep a look out for a XS1100 they have the same engine. You will just have to install your ignition pickup and alternator assenbly to the XS engine.

    Thanks for the info. I want the engine swap to be as painless as possible. Hopefully i will find a xj1100 engine in my state.My xj650 only has 15000 miles on it and i will be selling the engine when i find the xj1100 replacement.

    guess i'll have better luck putting a seca 900 motor in a xj650 frame?

    I don't think a 1100 engine will fit into a 650 frame without lots of modifications. I will try lots of stuff but I don't think I would try that. To many things to change. The 650 frame and rear would break under the HP.
