XJ1100 physical size/rider size?

Any comments or thoughts from someone who has owned or ridden one....how big are they? I've never ridden one, I've ridden 650/750/900 models and I fit those okay )i'm only 5'10"), but I have a friend who is 6'3" and he's thinking about an older Yamaha bike, but needs something that's not too small for his size......he's ridden a 650 and a 750 and they're too small for him, I know the 1100 is a bigger bike but how much so? Thanks........

 

He will love it, I am 6'4" @ 260. I fits me just fine. I do prefer my XS1100 over the XJ1100, no paticular reason just my preference. Either one of these will be a great choice. I am partial to the 1100 Yamahas though. The XJ has a slightly lower seat and looks better than the XS, but they are both built on the same frame. They are both fun to ride and handle well, they can also outrun 99% of the cars on the road and most bikes.
My wife likes riding the XJ because the seat is lower , she is only 5'6". We have alot of fun on nice afternoons.
