XJ1100 What speed am I going 5000 rpm 5th gear flat long distance?

    My speedo is not good and I am about to go on a long trip over 600 miles and I want to know what RPM on the highway is about 65 70 mph. Using a stock 1982 xj1100.

    Do you have a smart phone? You can download speedometer app than uses gps.

    My xj750 seca 75 is about 5500rpm 85 is 6000 rpm .

    Ok my xs1100 did about 135-138 at redline so your xj should be close,do the math backwards should give you a pretty good idea

    4200 to 4400 rpm will put you in the 65 to 70 mph range.

    Rode my XJ11 to work today and just for fun I paid attention to the tach and speedo.
    In 5th gear 55mph is 3500rpm and 70mph is 4500rpm
