So i finished building most of my bobber project and doing a majority of the maintenance needed. Go to turn the key and nothing...

Brand new battery fully charged/tested and i know that's not an issue. I get power to my run switch but no power to my starter button or ground. When i turn they key i only here the relay in the back near the struts click and nothing else. Taillight is on, Kick stand is up, the kick stand switch operates fine so i know that's not the issue either.

Wheres the next logical place to start testing or looking at? I'm quite the novice in electrical so any help is much appreciated.

First step I'd say to do is check the grounds, and run a continuity checks in the start circuit. You very well may have corroded contacts in the handlebar controls.

Thanks for the replies, turned out to be the clutch safety switch, didn't have it plugged into the harness in the headlight. It must be plugged into the harness, not necessarily at the clutch perch. Sounds like it was cranking/firing strong, didn't start right up so i may have to troubleshoot more but i'm getting closer:D
