    Hello folks.
I lit my XJ on fire about a year ago - seriously.
I still have lots of good parts for it that I paid a ridiculous amount for before my project failed catastrophically.

I have a good seat that I freshly covered with $80 new vinyl from a reputable Texas company. The new cover and some foam repair turned out great and the seat is about 100% by any reasonable estimation. Black original looking, with foam built into the stitching so the lateral stiches have small padding 'humps' as compared to just flat vinyl, if you know what I mean.

I have BOTH side plastics in good condition, though not in any original color. They'd have to be primed and painted, and you'd have to order new decals which are currently painted over, if you are going original. The plastic "SECA" stamp is still on both sides.

I also have a rear piece plastic, in original red.

I also have original handle bar, with chrome in good condition, no rust but some minor cosmetic scratches.

I have a set of carbs. They are unaltered. I couldn't get them running cause my bike was podded and the carbs were never changed. To my knowledge they are original jets all around. The rubber diaphrams are in very good condition, with no pitting holes or noticable thin spots, and the drop needles are very good condition too. The carbs feature a lot of new (expensive) fasteners as I've already done the work of getting rid of the boogered and stuck ones and replaced with nice SS from a vendor on this site. The rack has probably never been broken.

This is the last of my personal failure to restore an XJ550RJ. I had my third kid, bought an old cranky house, and gave up on motorcycling all together. I'm low on time. Just want a fair reasonable offer for these goods, see them go to good use and better luck for the next owner, and get them out of my garage where they remind me of one of my most ill fated projects ever.

I'll take pics and post for serious buyers ready to make reasonable offers, i.e. worth my time to package and ship at a minimum.

Shipping is from Collegeville, PA. Reply to this thread and I'll share email or phone.

Thanks guys. Hope everyone is having a great season. Maybe I'll get on a bike again after all the kids are 10 or up. Until then god bless you brave souls.

    Ryan
