I've done some homework so here is review.

Alternator shaft oil seal has been leaking on mj XJ for some time. Now it's fixed :D .
Due to very confusing or should I say shallow drawing in Haynes manual and Yamaha online drawing http://216.37.204.206/xtremepowersports ... &A=180&B=9
and http://216.37.204.206/xtremepowersports ... A=180&B=13 I had some doubts about which parts I need to order. I found them rather confusing. Why didn't they draw everything on one drawing? In first drawing it looks like o-ring is mounted on bearing?! In other drawing there is no oil seal so it took me some time to understand this. My problem is that I had never took apart this engine (yet) so I can't visualize everything inside.

Anyway you will need male puller 16x1.5 mm (standardized). My puller is made of brass, home made. Cheap one and I was shore that rotor threads will not be damaged.
After removing rotor, remove oil nozzle. Blow it with compressed air and replace o-ring. Remove two torx screws which are holding oil seal housing. Few light blows with hammer will set them free of thread locking agent.

Replace outer o-ring and oil seal. Apply some oil on oil seal lip and some Loctite thread locking agent on torx screws. Assemble everything back.
Rotor torque setting is 80 Nm or 58 ft-lbs according Haynes manual.

I hope that this is going to help someone.
