XJ650 (and others) PARTS 4 SALE!

a) Shifter cover off an '82 XJ650 Turbo model. Nice shape, a few small scratches that needs to be touched up (black paint), and the aluminum vent nipple has a piece missing at the very top, but still plenty of material for the hose to attach to and be secured. $ 15 plus shipping.

b) Gas tank petcock, '82 XJ650J, will fit 80-84 XJ650 Maxim, 81-83 XJ550 Maxim, '81-83 XJ550 Seca, '82 XJ650 Seca, '81 XJ750 Maxim, and '82 XJ1100. Great shape, works fine $20 plus shipping.

c) Pair of chrome engine/crash bars off a 1982 XJ650J Maxim, 2-bolt mounting style, very nice chrome, MINOR scuff on outside edge of left side bar, and minor twist of mounting ears on left side bar (put it in a vise and twist it back into shape if you want, but they fit just fine on my bike the way they are and the minor twist was not noticable!). $ 45 plus shipping.

d) Pair of right/left chrome mirrors off a '82 XJ650J (Maxim), very nice chrome, one very tiny ding on left mirror chrome "backing", glass is nice and clear on both. $20/pair plus shipping.

e) Chrome front fender from '82 XJ650J, beautiful, darned near perfect. $25 plus shipping.

f) Complete set of front & rear chrome turn signals for '82 XJ650J Maxim, nice chrome, minor pitting, nice "driver" quality, $ 35 plus shipping.

g) 1982-83 XJ650L Seca Turbo air filter element, brand new in the original box, factory filter element 16G-14451-00 $ 12 plus shipping.

h) '82 XJ650J (Maxim) complete exhaust system, from exhaust ports to the end of the mufflers, factory set up, very nice chrome, very minor rust on collectors, tiny amount of road rash on one pipe, crossover pipe has a small (6mm diameter) hole in it, easily patched, header pipes have very decent chrome/no rust. $ 170 plus shipping, which might be somewhat expensive depending where you live! This is a very nice complete system!

i) CARB PARTS for XJ650 Maxim carbs: these are Hitachi 32 carbs, I had to buy a complete system to get a few pieces for mine, so I'll part out the rest. Everything seems good on them, some pieces a little dirty. Let me know what specific item(s) you need and I'll be glad to get you prices.

Also, if anyone wants to share the exhaust system I might be interested in the header pipes (my old ones are going to look very bad next to those shiny crash bars).

 

Guess I should mention that I got the two tanks you sold me Chacal. Very nice packing job! They will work out nicely. The carb units you mentioned, what are you asking for the lot? Pics?

Is there any particular parts you want off the carbs? I'm not sure how much I robbed off of them so I'd have to go take an "inventory". Let me know.

I don't have pictures of them (yet), they're up at my shop along with another big mess of 650 parts.....

 

I've a set of 750 Seca carbs with buggered air/fuel seats (thanks to an idiot PO). So I'm not to worried about parts, just bodies. And if the parts on the shafts are intact, bonus.
