as in the title, had the bike sitting there for 6 years and got it going about a year ago, did a fair bit of non engine related work which is irrelevant really, but finally got it going and took it for a few spins around the local neighborhood.
last time out made it about 2 km and it started just losing power, dying, would go for a bit if i put the clutch in and gave it some revs, but finally just died dead, no way it would roll start either on the long push home.
tried a few tests and figured it might be the TID electronic ignition box, got one on ebay and basically forgot about it for a year..
anyhow, just trying to get it going now, and this is the thing.

it has spark, good strong spark that jumps 5-6mm from a screwdriver to frame. all 4 cylinders.

both ignition coils test good on ohms meter according to book, both main leads and little wires

pick up coil tests good on ohms meter , to the book.

compression is good, about 120 psi on all cylinders

I'm using aerostart.. (ether in a spray can) this starts anything, for this reason I'm ruling out fuel but could always be wrong on this, but its not getting a single kick, not in one single cylinder.
surely turning it over spraying in the aerostart intermittently straight into the airbox has got to rule out it being fuel yes?

i've even unbolted the exhaust pipes just to be sure they're not blocked.

so TID ignition box? if its broken would it still have a spark at all going to plugs?
    this is the big question.
I've tried both old and new, no guarantee new one (second hand)is good though

is there some way a pick up coil could be sending completely off spark timing either through dodgy ignition timing box or pick up coils?

as it seems to me that its got
    a) compression (120 psi)
    b) clear exhaust
    c) fuel ( being aerostart the petrol tank is off now, but the aerostart is volatile as and should at least fire)
    d) strong spark

logic says it should at least fire a bit.. but absolutely nothing..

    spark timing?

I'll be selling it as is next week but just though I'd try here first just in case..

more info, got it jumped to car battery, plenty of power turning it over.. JUST WONT KICK..

so anyone have any idea what am i missing with this thing?

BTW, how yers all going anyhow?, long time lurker first time poster here

Try posting this in the Technical forum. I think it may be getting overlooked here

Did you check your inner air intake area and carbs for a mouse nest?

Have the carbs been checked for blockage? Or fuel tap clogged with rust from tank? Vent in gas cap clogged not letting air into tank that won't let fuel flow?Etc etc...
