XJ650 Midnight Maxim Head removal

    I'm trying to pull the head off my bike and it just seems stuck to the gasket all 12 domed nuts and the two nuts at the bottom are off(in the right order like the manual says), and the spark plugs are out too. I've broken a screwdriver and a prybar with no luck.

    Four nuts at the back of the cylinder head? Two at the front at the cam chain tunnel? Use plastic wedges or a block of wood and a hammer and watch the fins.

    Ok took me some time to get the cylinder head off my 900, could be the dowels a bit stuck too. I tapped the head with a block of wood and a hammer being careful with the fins.
