    How do I know what model 1981 xj650 I have? r, j, h etc? Looking for letter model?

    I think it goes like this:
    R= Seca
    H= 1981
    J= 1982
    K= 1983
    Somebody correct me if I'm wrong here. I'm gonna check XJrider's link to be sure...

    That was just the 650s, as that was what you said you had. I forgot how much info Chacal can stuff into a guy's brain...

    Simplest way-- since there wasnt a 650 Seca in 1981, it would be a Maxim.

    Second simplest way - show us a pic and we'll tell you.
