So, my rear shocks on my xj650 Maxim project were leaking very badly. Orders I’m progressive shocks 412-4005 from a 04-08 sportster (at least what the listing indicated).
The bushings are widely different sizes.
Progressive eye hole OD - 32mm ID (with bushing) 16mm

the original Maxim shock is OD - 25.6mm and ID/R(with bushing) 10mm bottom/14mm top ID/L (with bushing) 14mm top and bottom.

Does anyone know if I can just pickup new bushings? I’m having trouble finding any with actual specs for ID/OD.

I’m guessing I’ll just have to return them and try another pair?

    Any help is much appreciated

Just lay in a stock of assorted shock bushings and mix and match the ones you need.
It's all I do. I have Hardly shocks on two of my bikes and more to go, simply by making them fit.
I have a penchant for Hardly Showa air shocks for a plush ride that is sure-footed, and cheap. Those H-D owners are a gold mine.
