xj650 top end on xj/fz600 ?

    Another thought on pistons now I'm thinking kawasaki - GPZ 305 used a 61mm piston on a 2 valve head.. Downside is you need two engines worth, that is if the other parameters are good.

    wow 110 lap TT is very impressive , back in 1989, seeing as the pro's today are just topping 130, been there many times, the place is just magical

    Paul, your video of the TT parade is fantastic! To me it really showed just how great the little FZ is. I drooled over them when new but couldn't afford one. Now I just found a complete running one with a Yoshimura pipe for $1500 delivered to me, so it will be here this week. I'm going to tear it down and do a full-on resto. I'll probably do a set of Megcycle cams, and obviously it will need jetting. I'd just like it to have a little extra power, nothing crazy. At least now that I'm an old fart I can afford a toy :)

    Thanks for the inspiration and the reminder that old tech doesn't mean it's not still good!
