so, i figured the xj650lj was the seca turbo. Then i started looking for more google info, and saw the xj650t as the seca turbo, only mainly from the co.uk domains.

is both bikes the same? just one US and one UK?

I know this sounds like a horrible n00b question, sorry

both the same except lights ,speedo and some safety cut outs,i think i'm not alone , but over here the xj650 was called just that, xj650 maxim was called xj650 us custom/special and everyone i knew called the 650 lk/lj ,the turbo hence xj650t, but time clouds these things

    hehe.

I don't think it should have shared the 'seca' name, and had something unique to itself, instead of just adding 'turbo'.

I call it the turbo seca, or the turbobike. anyone i ever meet in real life, will most likely never know what xj650 is for. but i have to know.

searching for the xj650t did give some more reading information, nothing really useful but fun to read.
