is there any real difference in plugs on an xj700 and an xj700x ? is it different threads? ( i mean if its just gap that can be adjusted ) NGK makes iridium plugs for the xj700x but not the xj700? same year and everything.....(and yes i know that the x modle is liquid cooled so that makes me think that maybe the threads are longer or somthin )
going to be colortuning when i get my new coils and i'd like to put some awsome plugs in too.....:p
    any thought?

Yes. The X takes a 12mm plug (NGK part number starts with a D) and the aircooled takes a 14mm plug (NGK part number starts with a B). I think they both take the same heat range, though.

A quick google shows that there are 14mm iridium plugs with the same 19mm reach as the stock plugs; you'll have to research whether they have the same heat range or not.

I plan on putting iridiums in my X, as soon as I get the carbs dialed in.
