I need a wiring pinout/diagram with what colors go to the head light, low beam, horn, signals, and also everything on the right side switch. I purchased a universal set of switches for my bike and they have different connectors so now I'm stuck rewiring them correctly :(

I believe mine is the seca. I went ahead and did the painstaking work of taking the old controls apart and seeing what they went to and this is what I came up with.

XJ750 Seca Right Side Controls -
    • Black/White & Green = Kill Switch
    • Black & Red/Yellow = Start Switch
    • Green/Yellow & Black = Brake Sensor
    • Aux Lamp
    Code:
    | | |
    Brown/White Brown Red/Blue

XJ750 Seca Left Side Controls -
    • Peach & Black = Horn
    • Front Lights (Green & Blue/Black = Low beam, Yellow & Blue/Black = High Beam)
    • Signal Lamps
    Code:
    | | |
    Navy Green Brown/White Dark Brown

Although there was also a yellow/red attached to the top of the signal switch inside the control on the yamaha that the universal switches didn't have. I attached that to the brown/white and it seems to work fine. Does anyone know what the yellow/red specifically is for?

That's for the turn signal self-cancel. Change to a non-stock switch, and you'll lose that feaure.

Ok so is brown/white the ground and the yellow/red has to be grounded for the circuit to complete?
