xj750 hardtail

    I was wondering how other people hardtailed there bikes without using the swingarm. I'm trying to refix someone's complete disaster of it

    Bad idea on a shaft driven bike . I had a friend several years ago bought a HD custom chopper hard tail ...he had back problems to begin with ride it for a couple of months and sold it off ...it hurt his back to the point that he did not want to ride it.

    Not the best pic, and not an xj, but this is my buddy's xs1100 that he basically built an entire new frame for from the neck back. It's a little too low and the driveshaft angle isn't the best but he's put a ton of miles on it and it's held up well. Hope it helps some.

    Probably the only hard-tailed shafty I've ever seen. Young man's ride though, too hard on the back

    tc bros sells hardtail kits if you want to do away with swing arm. easiest way is ti just replace shocks with tubing struts see how you like the ride then go for full conversion

    The TC Bros kits are nice kits but there will still be modifications needed since they only make them for chain drive bikes that I'm aware of
